Two ways to delete your account
If you have the app installed, the fastest way is directly in-app: Settings → Delete account. This deletes your account and data immediately, no waiting required.
If you don't have the app installed, or prefer email, use the request process below instead.
Request account deletion by email
- Send an email to journal-papers-finder@janalyticsengine.com with the subject line "Delete my account".
- Include the email address you used to sign up for Journal-Papers Finder, so we can locate your account.
- We will verify the request and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's done.
This opens your email app with the request pre-filled — just confirm the account email and send.
What gets deleted
- Your account (email, name, phone number, account type)
- All saved search history, including AI-extracted study details
- Any exported report files associated with your account
What we may retain
- Purchase records Google Play requires us to keep for tax, accounting, or legal compliance purposes
- Anonymized, aggregated data that can no longer be tied back to you
